Nozoe-kita Park's Hadaka-no-Ike Pond (野添北公園 はだかの池) is an artificial pond for water play at Nozoe-kita Park (野添北公園) in Harima Town, Kako District. The park itself is open year-round from Thursday, January 1 through Thursday, December 31, but water play is mainly available during summer, and the operating period and hours are not publicly announced. Because of this, it's best to check the situation with the town's information before heading out, or confirm whether water has been filled. The same park also has 'Little Kids Plaza' (ちびっこ広場) with combination playground equipment and the lawn area 'Barefoot Forest' (はだしの森), so you can spend a long time switching between activities, playground equipment when you've had enough of the water, and the lawn when your body has cooled off. Admission is free, and being surrounded by a residential neighborhood, the ease of dropping by as an extension of everyday life is part of what makes this park what it is.
