A Sapporo city museum in the Miyanomori residential district devoted to sculpture. Seeing the exhibition rooms housed in the building that was the sculptor's studio and then the works placed outdoors, one after the other, is the experience unique to this museum. Unlike paintings, three-dimensional works change their expression with the angle, so children discover the pleasure of walking all the way around to look. Because the scale is not too large, families with small children can stay focused right to the end, which is a real blessing. Inside it is quiet and air conditioned, making it well suited to spending the morning before the sun grows strong.

宮の森杉の子公園水遊び場は、札幌市中央区の宮の森杉の子公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年は6月29日(月)から8月30日(日)まで、10:00〜16:00に開放されます。浅い水遊び場なので、水を怖がる小さな子でも足をひたすところから少しずつ慣れていけます。宮の森は坂と緑の多い落ち着いた住宅街で、公園も混み合わないため、自分たちのペースで過ごせるのが良いところです。木陰のベンチから大人が全体を見渡せる規模なので、はじめての水遊びにも向いています。円山や神宮の杜からも近く、午前の予定と組み合わせやすい立地です。

Tips

水遊び場の運用は天候によって変わることがあるため、出発前に当日の状況を確認してください。足元を切らないよう水遊び用サンダルを履かせましょう。着替えの場所は限られるので、上から羽織れるタオルやポンチョがあると便利です。住宅街の中の公園なので、周辺では静かに過ごすよう声をかけておきましょう。16:00に終了するため、15時半には片づけを始めると余裕をもって帰れます。

Miyanomori is a residential district full of slopes, so comfortable walking shoes are best. Parking spaces are limited, so consider public transport as well.
