This is a local burger chain that operates only in Hakodate and its surroundings. The distinctive interior, unlike any national chain, and decorations that vary from branch to branch lift children's spirits before they even sit down. The signature burgers are generously sized, and rice dishes such as curry and omurice are also available, so children who do not like burgers will be fine too. Because locals eat here regularly, it is interesting as a taste of everyday Hakodate rather than a tourist attraction. As lunch on a day of vigorous activity in the afternoon, it will give you plenty of energy.

四季の杜公園水遊び場は、函館市の丘の上に広がる公園にある無料の水遊びスポットです。2026年は7月1日(水)より、準備が整い次第利用できるようになります(終了日は未発表)。浅い水遊び場なので、歩き始めたばかりの子でも足をひたして遊べます。この公園の魅力は何といっても景色と広さで、手入れの行き届いたガーデンと広い芝生広場に囲まれ、晴れた日には函館の市街地から津軽海峡までを見渡せます。パークセンターにトイレがあり、駐車場も整っているので、小さな子連れでも安心して一日を過ごせる環境です。丘の上を渡る風は市街地より涼しく、真夏の午後でも快適に感じられます。

Tips

利用開始の状況は準備の進み具合によって変わるため、出発前に函館市の案内で確認してください。芝生広場は日陰が限られるので、ワンタッチテントやレジャーシートがあると休憩しやすくなります。丘の上は風が強い日があり、体感温度が下がるので羽織ものを一枚持っていきましょう。着替えの場所は限られるため、水着を服の下に着せていくと現地での支度が楽になります。

There can be a wait at lunchtime, so arriving before noon makes it easier to get a seat. Portions are large, so ordering on the assumption that you will share with small children means nothing goes to waste. Takeout is available, so you can also switch to a plan of eating at the park.
