北海道立十勝エコロジーパーク水と霧の遊び場は、音更町の北海道立十勝エコロジーパークにある無料の水遊び場です。噴水と霧が組み合わさった造りで、吹き上がる水に飛び込むだけでなく、立ちこめる霧の中を走り抜ける遊び方もできるのが他の水遊び場との違いです。開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間にあたります。園内にはふわふわドームや広い芝生広場があり、水遊びに飽きたら跳ねる、寝転ぶ、と遊びを切り替えられるのが家族連れにはありがたいところ。ビジターセンターにトイレがあり、駐車場も整備されているので、小さな子ども連れでも一日を通して安心して過ごせます。十勝川のほとりの広々とした立地で、都市の公園にはない開放感が味わえます。

開設期間と当日の稼働状況は、事前に公式サイトで確認してください(出典: https://tokachi-ecopark.jp/facility)。園内は広いので、駐車場からの動線とトイレの位置を最初に確かめておくと動きやすくなります。ふわふわドームは体がぬれたままだとすべりやすいため、水遊びとの間にタオルで拭く時間を挟みましょう。芝生広場は日陰が限られるので、折りたたみの日よけがあると休憩が快適になります。

Tips

Dining areas get crowded around noon, so starting to eat between 11:00 and 12:00 makes it easier to get a table. Checking opening hours and closing days in advance is the sure approach. If you want to use the bathing facilities, it is easier to do so after the water play, so decide the day's order together as a family. The car park is large and well suited to arriving by car.
