A facility in the Tokachigawa Onsen (十勝川温泉) resort town that combines a roadside station and bathing facilities in one building. The bright interior makes use of wood and greenery, and there are meals made with Tokachi ingredients along with sales floors for local produce and processed goods. Because you can eat surrounded by hot-spring-town atmosphere, it is a destination in its own right rather than a mere stop along the way. Spending the midday hours indoors is another advantage, leaving energy in reserve for the afternoon water play. Buy your afternoon drinks and snacks here in one go. The Ecology Park is only a few minutes away by car.

Tips

Dining areas get crowded around noon, so starting to eat between 11:00 and 12:00 makes it easier to get a table. Checking opening hours and closing days in advance is the sure approach. If you want to use the bathing facilities, it is easier to do so after the water play, so decide the day's order together as a family. The car park is large and well suited to arriving by car.
