About this spot

There is a restaurant inside the Glass Pyramid (ガラスのピラミッド), so you can have lunch without leaving the park. After walking around the wide grounds, being able to settle down in an air-conditioned place is a great advantage for families. The park's lawns and groves of trees spread out beyond the windows, and being able to eat while looking at the scenery is another pleasure. You can buy extra drinks and snacks at the shop, so preparations for staying hydrated in the afternoon can all be made here as well. After eating, change into swimwear in the changing room and head to Moere Beach (モエレビーチ).

モエレ沼公園モエレビーチは、札幌市東区のモエレ沼公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年は6月13日(土)から9月2日(水)まで、10:00〜16:00に開放されます。石を敷き詰めた浅い造りで、緩やかに水に入っていける形になっているため、小さな子でも足元を確かめながら遊べます。園内には更衣室・トイレ・レストラン・大型駐車場がそろっており、家族連れが一日過ごすための設備が整っているのが大きな安心材料です。まわりは芝生とゆるやかな丘で、水から上がったら寝転がって体を乾かすという過ごし方ができます。公園そのものが彫刻作品として設計されているので、遊びながら景色の美しさも味わえるのがここならではです。

Tips

天候により中止になることがあるため、出発前に当日の開放状況を確認してください。石の上は濡れると滑りやすいので、水遊び用サンダルを必ず履かせましょう。日陰が少ないため、日よけと多めの飲み物が必要です。着替えは更衣室を利用できます。園内は広いので、駐車場までの戻りの時間を見込んで15時半には片づけを始めると余裕をもって帰れます。

Tips

Please check the official information for business hours, closed days and the menu. Summer weekends get crowded, so shifting your timing a little earlier or later makes it easier to get a table. Bringing a packed lunch and eating on the lawn is another way to go. As a rule, take your trash home with you.
