A lifelong learning facility run by the City of Sapporo in Miyanosawa, Nishi Ward, conveniently located just steps from Miyanosawa Station on the subway. Inside are a library room, lecture rooms and spaces where you can eat, so you can spend time slowly away from the heat outside. Children's books are also stocked, making it a good spot for quiet time after a morning of activity. Resting in air-conditioned rooms restores energy for the afternoon water play. Being almost directly connected to the station, it is easy to work into a day spent on public transport.

札幌市西区の山の手草ぶえ公園にある「山の手草ぶえ公園水遊び場」は、無料で利用できる浅い水遊び場です。開設期間は2026年6月6日(土)から9月6日(日)まで、時間は9:00〜17:00と、夏をまるごとカバーする長さがあります。水深が浅いので、水に慣れていない小さな子どもでも自分の足で入っていけます。住宅街のなかの公園らしい親しみやすさがあり、地元の子どもたちと自然に混じって遊べるのがこの場所のよさです。入れ替え時間がないため、遊びと休憩を子どものペースで繰り返せます。料金は無料なので、午後だけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。

Tips

終了は17:00です。着替えと片づけを考えて16:45ごろには水から上がりましょう。天候や水温、清掃作業によって利用できない日があるため、出かける前に札幌市の案内ページで当日の状況を確認してください。日陰が限られる時間帯があるので、帽子と日焼け止めは忘れずに。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを用意しましょう。
