Misumai Local History Museum (簾舞郷土資料館)

About this spot

This is a City of Sapporo local history museum in Misumai, Minami Ward, housed in the former Kuroiwa Family Residence (旧黒岩家住宅). The building has a history as a wayside rest house where travellers on the Honganji Road (本願寺道路) once stopped, and it is a valuable wooden structure that conveys Sapporo's pioneer era to the present day. Inside, farm implements and household tools are on display, letting you picture in concrete terms how people lived in an age without electricity or running water. The exhibition is not large, but that means children can look carefully at each item as they go round. Admission is free, so it is an easy way to spend an hour in the morning.

札幌市南区の藤野みどり公園にある「藤野みどり公園水遊び場」は、無料で利用できる浅い水遊び場です。2026年の開設期間は7月10日(金)から8月25日(火)まで、時間は10:00〜16:00となっています。水深が浅いため、水に慣れていない未就学児でも自分の足で入っていけるのが安心なところ。山あいの住宅街にある公園なので、市街地の公園よりも風が涼しく、木陰で休みながら遊べます。プールのように時間で区切られることがなく、遊びと休憩を子どものペースで繰り返せるのがじゃぶじゃぶ池のよさです。料金は無料なので、午後だけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。

Tips

終了は16:00です。着替えと片づけを考えて15:45ごろには水から上がりましょう。天候や水温、清掃作業によって利用できない日があるため、出かける前に札幌市の案内ページで当日の状況を確認してください。山あいで夕方に気温が下がりやすいので、上に羽織るものを1枚持っていくと安心です。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを用意しましょう。

There are few parking spaces, so when it is busy, wait your turn rather than parking on the street. There are areas inside where you take off your shoes, so footwear that is easy to slip on and off makes things smoother.
