This is 「Akebonoyama Agricultural Park Water Play Corner」, a free water play area in Akebonoyama Agricultural Park in Kashiwa City. In most years it is open from Sunday, August 2 to Monday, August 31, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; it runs only on days the park is open and is cancelled in rainy weather. It is made up of a shallow pool in Furusato Plaza (near the rear gate) and a ladybird-shaped fountain, so even small children can get into the water with confidence. Shade is provided by tents, reed screens and benches, so you can stay a long time with breaks even in high summer, which is this park's great strength. Admission and parking are both free. The Park Center has a kids' room and a shop, so the whole day can be built around this park alone.
