This is the facility at the heart of Akebonoyama Agricultural Park, with a kids' room and a shop. Having somewhere indoors to settle down is enormously welcome at a park in high summer. Shake off the tiredness of the morning's walking here and get ready for the afternoon's water play. Stock up on drinks and snacks at the shop and you can devote your time at the Water Play Corner to playing. The kids' room lets little ones rest while they play, making it just right for cooling down before the water.

Venue: 柏市・あけぼの山農業公園

柏市のあけぼの山農業公園にある、無料の水遊び場「あけぼの山農業公園みずあそびコーナー」です。例年8月2日(日)から8月31日(月)まで、10時から15時30分まで開放され、開園日のみの実施で雨天は中止になります。ふるさと広場(裏門付近)にある浅いプールと、てんとう虫型の噴水で遊べる構成で、小さな子でも安心して水に入れます。テント・よしず・ベンチによる日除けが用意されているので、真夏でも休憩をはさみながら長く過ごせるのがこの公園の大きな強みです。入園料と駐車場はどちらも無料。パークセンターにキッズルームと売店があるため、1日をこの公園の中だけで組み立てられます。

Tips

15時30分で終了なので、15時前には着替えの準備を始めると落ち着いて帰れます。日除けのテントやよしずの下は人気なので、早めに場所を確保しておくと快適です。雨天は中止になるため、当日の天気を確かめてから出かけてください。開園日のみの実施なので、公園の休園日と重ならないかも合わせて確認しましょう。

Tips

The shop's stock and opening hours can vary from day to day, so it is safer to also consider bringing a packed lunch. The Water Play Corner runs from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., so finishing lunch by the 1 o'clock hour lets you make full use of the afternoon. Checking where you can change and where the toilets are while you are here keeps things smooth.
