Kamagaya City Folk Museum

About this spot

This is the city museum introducing the history and daily life of Kamagaya. This whole area was pioneer land opened in the early Meiji era, and the place name Hatsutomi carries that history to this day. As you look at old farm tools, household implements and photographs, you gradually begin to see how today's residential landscape came about. The exhibition rooms are compact, so even families with small children can go around the whole museum while attention still holds. It is indoors and air-conditioned, making it a dependable place to spend a bright, hot morning in comfort.

鎌ケ谷市の市制記念公園にある、無料の水遊び場「市制記念公園水遊び場（噴水）」です。未就学児向けに整えられた噴水式の水遊び場で、2024年に整備された比較的新しい設備です。水深がほとんどないタイプなので、はじめて水遊びをする小さな子でも段階を踏んで慣れていけます。市の公式は「夏期のみ」と案内していて日付の記載はないため、出かける前に確認してから向かってください。開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間の開放となっています。公園そのものの利用時間は9時から17時まで、夏季は9時から19時までで、利用は無料なので夕方に涼みに立ち寄る使い方もできます。
