This is the free water-play spot known as the Minamigyotoku Park Artificial Stream in Minamigyotoku Park, Ichikawa City. It usually operates from late April to the end of September; in 2026 it runs from around Saturday, April 25 to around Wednesday, September 30, from 10:00 to 16:30. Because the water flows down the slope of a man-made hill, children can get used to it at their own pace, working from the shallow upper section toward the lower one. It never becomes deep like a pond, so it suits a first experience of water play. There are restrooms (including an accessible restroom) but no parking, so plan to come by train, bicycle, or on foot. It is cancelled in rainy weather, so check the sky before you set off.

Tips

There is no parking, so do not build your plan around coming by car. You will walk on stones in places, so water shoes that stay on the feet are reassuring. Assume there are no changing rooms and be ready to change in a restroom or in the shade. It closes at 16:30, so starting to change before 16:00 lets you head home without rushing.
