A museum that conveys the history of Shiroi City and the lives of its people. The exhibits are compact, so even small children can go around the whole thing while their attention lasts. This area has long been known for pears, and the farm tools and everyday implements of the time show the ingenuity of the people who cultivated the fields on the plateau. Spending the cool morning hours indoors also leaves energy for the afternoon of water play. Learning a little about the area before heading to the park changes how the same scenery looks.

白井市の十余一公園にある無料の水遊び場「十余一公園親水池・せせらぎ」です。2ヶ所の池と、それらをつなぐ細いせせらぎで構成されていて、流れをたどって上ったり下ったりする遊び方ができるのがこの公園ならではの魅力。水深が浅いので、小さな子でも自分の足で水の中に入っていけます。遊歩道が整備され、駐車場とトイレもあるため、着替えや休憩の場所に困りません。利用は無料なので、夕方だけ立ち寄るといった短時間の使い方もしやすい施設です。2026年の開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間に水が流れます。

開設期間が未発表のため、出かける前に白井市の案内で当日の通水状況を確認してください。せせらぎの底は石で滑りやすいことがあるので、素足ではなくマリンシューズやサンダルが安心です。日陰は木立の下に限られるため、レジャーシートと帽子を用意しましょう。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを使い、遊んだあとは水道で足をよく洗い流してください。
