About this spot

This is a prefectural urban park spreading through the center of Chiba New Town. Flower beds, lawn, waterside, and woods connect gently, making it a pleasant place to walk even without a set destination. There's an open area with nothing blocking the view, making it a perfect play spot for kids eager to run. Getting your body moving a little before the afternoon's water play also helps lunch go down well. Since the park is large, rather than forcing yourself to cover the whole thing, it's just right to walk around the entrance area alone.

Tips

Some areas have little shade, so be sure to bring a hat and something to drink. Part of the park has paid facilities, so check the on-site signage if you plan to use them. There are paved paths suitable for strollers, but the lawn can get muddy after rain.
