About this spot

A curious square-shaped tidal flat left in a spot surrounded by houses and roads. Registered under the Ramsar Convention, it is an internationally important wetland where a variety of migratory birds come to rest with each season. A promenade circles the whole flat, so you can look for birds and crabs while walking, even with a stroller. The scenery changes completely with the tide, so what you see in the same place differs by the time of day. It is a waterfront with an entirely different character from the afternoon fountain, which makes the contrast within the day work nicely.

東京湾の干潟、三番瀬に面した船橋市の海浜公園にある無料の水遊び場「ふなばし三番瀬海浜公園噴水広場」です。芝生広場にアーチを描いて噴き上がる水が特徴で、その下をくぐって走り抜ける遊び方ができます。プールと違って区切りがないので、走る・くぐる・寝ころぶと、子どもが自分のペースで動けるのがこの広場のよさ。展望デッキから海を眺め、バーベキュー場のにぎわいを横目にしながら過ごせる、海辺ならではの開放感があります。公園の利用は無料で、駐車場やバーベキュー場などは有料です。2026年の開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間に稼働します。

Tips

開設期間が未発表のため、出かける前に公園の案内で当日の稼働状況を確認してください。海辺なので日差しも風も強く、帽子と日焼け止め、羽織るものがあると快適です。芝生や噴水まわりは濡れて滑りやすくなるので、マリンシューズやサンダルを履かせましょう。駐車場は有料で、夏の週末は満車になることがあるため早めの到着が安心です。

Tips

There is a nature observation center at the edge of the flat, and admission is charged. Check the official information for opening days and fees. The promenade has little shade, so do not forget a hat and drinks. Binoculars make looking for birds far more fun. You cannot go down onto the flat itself, so the rule is to observe from the promenade.
