A large furniture store in the bayside area of Funabashi City, with a spacious restaurant upstairs. It is self-service so you rarely wait, and there are children's dishes and high chairs, making it a relaxed place to eat even with small children. The interior is air-conditioned, making it just right as a place to cool down after a morning walk around the tidal flat. Picking up towels, plastic bags, and drinks after the meal means you will not be scrambling during the afternoon water play. The trick for good timing is not to linger over shopping and to wrap up with just the meal and the restocking.

Tips

Seats fill up around noon on weekends and holidays, so arriving before noon lets you eat in peace. The building is large and follows a set route, so checking the shortcut to the restaurant at the entrance keeps you from getting lost. Setting out the change of clothes in the car here, ready for the afternoon water play, makes the next move easier.

About 1 hour 15 minutes. To avoid the crowds, arriving in the first half of the 11:00 hour is comfortable
