Showa no Mori Water and Greenery Play Area

This is the free water play area called the Showa no Mori Water and Greenery Play Area, in Showa no Mori in Midori Ward, Chiba City. It sits by the water inside a vast 105.8-hectare comprehensive park, and its greatest feature is the many surrounding trees that make shade easy to find. Because you can play out of direct sunlight even in midsummer, families with small children can enjoy themselves without wearing themselves out. The opening period has not been announced; in past years it has opened during the summer school holidays. Admission is free, and combining it with the observation deck and the long slide means you can build a whole day within this one park.
