Within walking distance of Funabashi Station, Amanuma Bentenike Park Waterside Plaza and Fountain is a free water play area whose star is the waterside space centred on a fountain. Even in the middle of town, water and greenery are gathered together here, and its greatest appeal is how easily you can drop in alongside shopping or a meal. The park also has a sports ground and a playground area, so when children tire of the water they move to the equipment, and when they tire of that they go back to the water, carrying on at their own pace. Because you can walk here from the station, you can come for water play without taking the car, an advantage only an urban park offers. Use is free, and you can also just drop in for a short while.
