About this spot

A comprehensive park in Nishi Ward, Saitama City, with wide lawn areas, playground equipment and sports facilities. Local children gather here, and it is a relief that there is plenty of room simply to run around even on days off. Groves of trees around the edges make shade easy to find, so a morning before the heat sets in is very pleasant. It is close to the flower hill park, so the location makes it easy to build a day that shifts from one place to another between morning and afternoon. Entry is free, so you can also just drop in briefly.

Tips

In midsummer the playground equipment can become hot in the sun, so check before letting children touch it. During hours with little shade, do not push it and wrap up early to stay safe. Locating the restrooms and drinking fountains first makes moving around easier.
