The flower fields spread over a gentle hill at the heart of Omiya Hana-no-Oka Agricultural and Forestry Park. Flowers replanted with each season bloom across the whole slope, and standing at the top of the hill gives an open view over the entire park. The paths are well maintained, so it is a joy that even small children can make their way among the flowers on their own feet. This park is not simply a large open space: it has the scenery its name promises, a hill of flowers. Admission is free, and even just a walk is satisfying enough.

さいたま市西区の大宮花の丘農林公苑にある「大宮花の丘農林公苑親水広場（じゃぶじゃぶ池）」です。2026年は7月20日(月)から8月31日(月)まで、9:00〜16:00の時間帯に開かれます(清掃等により利用できない場合あり)。利用は無料で、園内にはトイレのほか売店の花の食品館とレストランがそろっているため、飲み物や食事の心配をせずに1日過ごせるのが大きな利点です。花畑に囲まれた開放的な立地なので、水遊びのあいまに散歩を楽しむこともできます。ペットの入場はできない点だけ、事前に確認しておいてください。夏休みの1か月半だけの開放なので、行きたい日は早めに押さえておきましょう。

Tips

清掃等により利用できない日があるため、遠方から向かう場合は公苑の公式サイトで当日の状況を確認しておくと安心です。ペットの入場はできません。更衣室の記載はないので、水着は服の下に着ていくのが確実。水遊び後は水道で足をよく洗い、木陰で休憩をはさみながら遊びましょう。終了は16:00なので、15時半をめどに片づけを始めると余裕を持って帰れます。
