This is the Kumagaya Sports and Culture Park Water Play Plaza inside Kumagaya Sports and Culture Park in Kumagaya City. In 2026 it is open from Saturday 18 July to Monday 31 August, from 10:00 to 16:00. It is closed on Tuesday 4 August, and also closes on days with bad weather. Admission is free, and with a Children's Playground full of play structures next door, its appeal is being able to play for hours by moving between the water and the equipment. In Kumagaya, known as Japan's hottest town, this is a precious waterside open only during the summer holidays. The season runs only about a month and a half, so secure the day you want to go early.
