Shiki City Local History Museum (志木市立郷土資料館)

A municipal local history museum introducing the history and folklore of Shiki City. It gathers exhibits unique to this town, including the story of the Hikimata wharf (引又河岸), which once thrived on boat traffic along the Shingashi River (新河岸川), and materials about the Tagoyama Fujizuka (田子山富士塚). Learning the background of the mound you climbed in the morning completely changes how the memory sticks. The museum is compact, so even small children can go around it while their attention holds. Being indoors, it also serves nicely as a cool place to pass the hours of strongest sunshine.

志木市のいろは親水公園、左岸ゾーンのいろはパークにある「いろは親水公園ウォーターパーク（水遊び）」です。2026年は7月13日(月)から9月13日(日)まで、10:00〜16:30の時間帯に開かれます。ふだんは複合遊具として使われている設備が、夏のあいだだけ水の噴き出すウォーターパークに変わるのが大きな特徴で、遊具と水遊びの両方を一度に楽しめます。利用は無料で、公園のトイレが使えます。新河岸川と柳瀬川が合流する水辺に広がる公園なので、まわりの景色も気持ちよく、大人は木陰から見守れます。夏休みのほぼ全期間にわたって開かれているのも計画を立てやすいところです。

Tips

7月18日(土)・19日(日)は敷島神社祭典のため終日休止です。この2日は避けて計画してください。雷鳴時は中断・中止になるため、夕立の多い時期は空模様に注意し、公式の案内で当日の状況を確認しましょう。更衣室の記載はないので、水着の上から羽織れるものを用意しておくとスムーズです。水遊び後は水道で足をよく洗い、木陰で休憩をはさみながら遊びましょう。
