The Uneune Park Stream in Uneune Park, Kita-ku, Saitama City. In 2026 it is available from Wednesday 1 July to Wednesday 30 September, from 9:00 to 17:00 (it may be unavailable due to cleaning and similar work). A shallow stream is laid out in the northern part of the park, and use is free. It has no depth like a pool, so even small children can put their feet in and play safely. Its greatest strength is that it stays open from morning to evening for three months, so you can also choose to visit during the lingering heat of September rather than midsummer. It is a local waterside where neighbourhood children gather, making it easy to drop in for just a short while without any fuss.

Tips

There are days when it cannot be used because of cleaning and similar work, so if you are coming from far away, check the day's status with the Saitama City Parks and Green Spaces Association for peace of mind. No changing rooms are listed, so wearing swimwear under your clothes is the safe option. After playing, wash your feet well at the tap, and take breaks in the shade between play. Children who are not yet out of nappies should bring swim nappies.
