A large shopping complex in front of Tokorozawa Station. With a full range of restaurants, you can put together a lunch that satisfies everyone even when the children's tastes differ. The air-conditioned interior is just the right resting place to cool bodies flushed from the morning's walking. If you top up here on towels, spare clothes, or sunscreen that you are short of for water play, you can relax in the afternoon. There are nursing rooms and baby rest areas, so it is easy to get around even with an infant.

所沢市の所沢航空記念公園にある「所沢航空記念公園むさしの川」です。2026年は5月30日(土)から9月27日(日)まで、9:00〜17:00の時間帯に稼働します。雨天等で急遽稼働が休止になる場合があるため、当日の天気には注意が必要です。利用は無料で、園内にはトイレと売店があり、広い芝生広場も隣接しています。荷物を芝生に置いて交代で見守る、水に飽きたら芝生を走り回るといった過ごし方ができるのが、大きな公園ならではの良さ。17時まで稼働するので、日差しがやわらぐ夕方の時間帯までゆっくり遊べます。

Tips

急な稼働休止があるため、公園の公式サイトの新着情報で当日の状況を確認してから出かけると安心です。更衣室の記載はないため、着替えはラッシュガードなど水着の上から羽織れるものを用意しておくとスムーズ。水遊び後は水道で足をよく洗い、木陰で休憩をはさみながら遊ぶと熱中症を防げます。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを用意してください。

Tips

The dining floor gets crowded around noon on weekends and holidays, so shifting to the late 11 o'clock hour or after 13:00 makes it easier to get a seat. Securing plastic bags for wet clothes and drinks here in preparation for the afternoon makes the trip home easier. The park is a few minutes away by car.
