This is the Tennogawa Community Greenway Splash Stream in Urawa-ku, Saitama City. In 2026 it is open from Tuesday 14 July to Sunday 30 August, from 9:00 to 18:00. It was restored on 13 July 2026, and it may be unavailable due to cleaning and the like. Its defining feature is its design as a long, narrow greenway with a babbling stream and waterfalls, and being able to walk along and step into the water wherever you like is irresistible fun for children. There is no pool-like depth, so even small children can put their feet in and play with peace of mind. Use is free, and since it stays open until 18:00, you can also spend a relaxed stretch in the cooler hours after the sun sinks low. It is a familiar waterside where local children gather.

Tips

There are days when it cannot be used because of cleaning and the like, so if you are coming from far away, check the situation for the day with the Saitama City Park and Greenery Association information to be safe. The greenway is long and narrow, so let children play within sight so they do not wander far. No changing room is listed, so wearing swimwear under clothes is the surest approach. After playing in the water, wash feet well at the tap, and take breaks in the shade between play.
