About this spot

A sports park in Komaba, Urawa-ku, Saitama City, and one of the symbols of Urawa as a football town. The grounds have groves and green spaces, and if you spread a picnic sheet in the shade it becomes a breezy, pleasant spot for lunch. It is right next to the Saitama City Youth Space Science Museum, so there is no strain in getting there and you can take a break before the children tire out, which is a real help. Settling down here once before the afternoon water play keeps everyone's energy going longer. Even just looking at the exterior of the stadium on a stroll is a special experience for a child who loves football.

さいたま市浦和区の「天王川コミュニティ緑道じゃぶじゃぶ」です。2026年は7月14日(火)から8月30日(日)まで、9:00〜18:00の時間帯に利用できます。2026年7月13日に復旧済みで、清掃等により利用できない場合があります。せせらぎと滝のある細長い緑道という造りが特徴で、歩きながら好きな場所で水に入れるのが子どもにはたまらない楽しさ。プールのような深さがないので、小さな子でも足を入れて安心して遊べます。利用は無料で、18時まで開いているため、日が傾いてからの涼しい時間帯にもゆっくり過ごせる、地元の子どもたちが集まる身近な水辺です。

Tips

清掃等により利用できない日があるため、遠方から向かう場合はさいたま市公園緑地協会の案内で当日の状況を確認しておくと安心です。緑道は細長いので、子どもが遠くまで行かないよう見える範囲で遊ばせましょう。更衣室の記載はないので、水着は服の下に着ていくのが確実。水遊び後は水道で足をよく洗い、木陰で休憩をはさみながら遊んでください。

Tips

The area can get crowded on days when matches or tournaments are held, so checking the schedule is reassuring. Shaded spots are limited, so decide where to sit early. Eating too much makes the afternoon water play hard going, so a light lunch is recommended.
