This museum in Chuo Ward, Saitama City introduces the history and folk culture of the former Yono City area. Farming tools, everyday household items and old photographs are displayed, giving a concrete picture of what the town you are walking through used to be. Saitama City was formed by merging Urawa, Omiya and Yono, so discovering that each of them has its own separate history is an interesting find for children too. The interior is compact, on a scale that even small children can walk through before losing concentration. Admission is free, so it is easy to drop in.
