This is a full-scale theatre in Chuo Ward, Saitama City, operated by Saitama Prefecture. A complex bringing together a main hall, a small hall and a music hall, it is known nationwide in the field of drama. The grounds around the building include a plaza with a reflecting pool and groves of trees, so you can enjoy its distinctive atmosphere on a stroll even without seeing a performance. When the lobby is open to the public, you can also rest there in the cool. For children with no everyday connection to theatre, breathing the air of a place like this is a fresh experience.

さいたま市中央区の「水とふれあいの広場ジャブジャブ池」です。2026年は7月1日(水)から9月30日(水)まで、広場の開放は9:00〜17:00、ジャブジャブ池は16:30までとなっています。7月24日(金)は清掃のため利用できず、悪天候・清掃時も休止になります。ジャブジャブ池のほかゲートボール場があり、地域の人が日常的に使う身近な広場です。利用は無料で、ペットの同伴はできません。プールのような深さがないので小さな子でも安心で、3か月にわたって開いているため、真夏を外して9月の残暑に訪れるという選択もできます。

7月24日(金)は清掃のため利用できません。この日は避けて計画してください。悪天候・清掃時も休止になるため、出かける前にさいたま市の公式サイトで当日の状況を確認しましょう。ジャブジャブ池は16:30までで、広場の開放より30分早く終わる点に注意。ペットの同伴はできません。水遊び後は水道で足をよく洗い、こまめに休憩をはさみながら遊んでください。

Lobby and cafe operations also depend on the performance calendar, so it is safer to plan lunch at the shopping complex that follows. There is little shade in the plaza, so do not forget a hat.
