This large children's facility run by Sakai City sits right by Izumigaoka Station on the Semboku Rapid Railway (泉北高速鉄道). Inside the building is a huge climbing structure stacked up over many levels, and simply climbing and crawling through it makes the morning fly by. Beyond the play equipment there are exhibits on the history of toys and play, so the layout can fill a whole day even in the rain. Because it is indoors, children can move about freely while escaping the summer sun, which makes good sense as a way to spend the hours before water play. Plan to wrap up in the morning so no one uses up too much energy.

堺・緑のミュージアムハーベストの丘じゃぶじゃぶ広場は、堺市南区の農業公園の中に夏のあいだ開放される水遊び場です。2026年のシーズンは4/25(土)〜9/23(水・祝)で、時間は10:00〜15:00（最終入場14:30）、8月は9:00〜16:00（最終入場15:30）、GW期間の5/3〜5/5は9:00〜15:00となります。約1,800平方メートルという広さがあるので、混み合う日でも自分たちの場所を確保しやすいのが利点です。更衣室とシャワーが備わっているため、遊んだあとの身支度がきちんとでき、帰りの車や電車が快適なのは屋外の水遊び場としては大きな安心材料になります。じゃぶじゃぶ広場そのものは無料ですが、別途ハーベストの丘の入園料が必要です。雨天は中止、混雑時は利用制限がかかることがあります。

Tips

別途ハーベストの丘の入園料が必要なので、料金と開園時間は公式サイトで事前に確認してください。8月は9:00〜16:00に時間が延びるので、猛暑日は朝いちばんから入って早めに切り上げる計画も立てられます。最終入場は閉場の30分前なので、園内の移動時間を見込んで余裕をもって向かいましょう。丘の上で日陰が限られるため、帽子と日焼け止め、飲み物は多めに用意してください。

Tips

Check the closed days and opening hours in advance. You take your shoes off to climb the structure, so shoes that are easy to slip on and off, plus socks, make things easier. There are lockers, so you can check your water-play gear and get around unburdened.
