Nunose Shrine (布忍神社)

About this spot

This shrine stands on the bank of the Nishiyoke River in Kitashinmachi, Matsubara City. The grounds are not too large, and simply walking the tree-lined approach lets you feel the sounds of the town receding. It is known for its love fortune slips and you may see young worshippers, but early in the morning it is quiet, so even families with small children can take their time. It is within walking distance of Nunose Station (布忍駅) on the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line, making it a fitting starting point for this car-free course. Spend the time before the fountain starts with the quiet of the riverside.

新町南公園水景施設（噴水）は、松原市の新町南公園にある無料の水遊びスポットです。2026年のシーズンは5/1(金)〜10/31(土)で、7〜9月は10:00〜12:00と13:00〜16:00、5・6・10月は11:00〜12:00と13:00〜14:00の稼働となり、11〜4月は土日の11:00〜11:30のみになります。高く噴き上がる噴水は迫力があり、そばには日本庭園の流れもあるので、勢いのある水と静かな浅瀬を気分に合わせて選べるのがこの公園ならではの楽しさです。園内には大型遊具もそろっていて、体を乾かしながら遊具へ、また水へと行き来できます。駐車場がないため、電車や自転車で向かう前提の計画にしてください。料金は無料です。

Tips

駐車場がないので、近鉄南大阪線の駅から徒歩か自転車での来園が基本になります。噴水の稼働は月ごとに時間が決まっているため、出発前に松原市の案内で当日の時間を確認してください。7〜9月は昼休みをはさんで13:00〜16:00にも動くので、午前で切り上げず一度昼食に出て午後に戻る計画も立てられます。床面はぬれるとすべりやすいので、脱げにくい水遊び用サンダルが安心です。

Tips

It is within walking distance of Nunose Station on the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line. Worship quietly, and as a rule refrain from eating or drinking on the grounds. The shrine office may not be open early in the morning, so check opening times if you are after charms or other items.
