Kashihara Jabu-Jabu Park (Kashihara Sports Park), open only during the summer at Kashihara Sports Park, is a water play spot you can enjoy from 9:30 to 16:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as well as during the Obon period (August 10 to 14), from Saturday, July 18, 2026 to Wednesday, September 30. The star is a shallow splash pool only about 20 cm deep; small children can stand firmly on the bottom, which makes it easier for guardians to keep watch. There is a kids' slider, a mist zone and a water gun zone, and you can also ride a paddle boat across the water, so siblings of different ages will each find their own way to play. For children who do not want to get wet there is a kids' bike area, and in the rest area you can bring in a tent and make your own base (large tents 2.5 m or taller in height may not be brought in). A barbecue area is also set up for a limited period, so depending on your lunch plans the ways to spend the day widen further. Admission is 900 yen for ages 2 and up, free for ages 0 to 1, and guardians also need an admission ticket.

Tips

Operating days may change and are announced on the official Instagram account. Always check that it is open that day before you set out. It closes at 16:00, so allowing time to change and getting out of the water around 15:30 makes for a calm departure. The mist zone and shaded areas are limited, so bringing your own tent and a picnic sheet makes resting far easier. For children still in diapers, prepare swim diapers.
