About this spot

The greatest attraction at Wanpaku Kingdom is the long roller slide built into the hillside. A large dinosaur-shaped sculpture is set on the slope, and the ride takes you through and alongside its body all the way down. The distance is long, so the sense of achievement at the bottom is big, and children tend to climb the steps and slide again and again. The surroundings are wooded, and being able to wait your turn in the shade helps a lot. Getting the body moving before entering the water makes the afternoon at the waterside feel even better.

わんぱく王国水辺の広場は、阪南市の谷あいにある公園の無料の水遊び場です。2026年のシーズンは6/1(月)〜8/31(月)の9:30〜17:00で、すぐそばを流れる川からポンプで水を汲み上げて浅い水辺に流しています。自然の川の水をそのまま使う仕組みなので、猛暑などで川の水量が減った場合は水を出せないことがあります。利用するときは管理棟の事務所へ声をかける決まりになっているため、到着したらまず管理棟に立ち寄ってください。山に囲まれた立地で木陰が多く、市街地の水遊び場とはまったく違う涼しさが味わえるのがこの場所の魅力です。料金は無料で、駐車場は普通車500円、管理棟にトイレがあります。

Tips

到着したらまず管理棟の事務所に声をかけてから利用してください。水量は当日の川の状況によるので、遠方から向かう場合は事前に阪南市へ確認すると確実です。石や砂利で足を切らないよう、脱げにくい水遊び用サンダルを履かせてください。山あいなので蚊やアブが出ます。虫よけと、日が陰ってから羽織れる上着を用意しておくと快適です。

Tips

The slide can be hard on the backside, so many families bring cardboard or a dedicated mat. Long trousers or thicker clothing make for a more comfortable ride. The climb back up is a long flight of steps, so adults should accompany small children.
