The Fountain Plaza at Fugan Canal Kansui Park (富岩運河環水公園 噴水広場) is a free water-play spot in Fugan Canal Kansui Park in Toyama City. The official website introduces it by saying 「The Fountain Plaza is a fun water-play spot. It is especially popular in summer, and children are delighted by the way the water shoots up and then stops」, so the very mechanism of changing jet positions and timing becomes the game. It also explains that 「there are small children in swimsuits, and you can also play in your ordinary clothes」, which gives you great freedom in how to enjoy it. The operating period has not been announced, but in ordinary years it can be enjoyed through the warm season including the summer holidays, and it is shut off in winter. Use is free and parking is at the paid Times 24 car park. Tenmon Bridge (天門橋), the Spring and Waterfall Plaza (泉と滝の広場), the open-air theater and the Fugan Suijo Line (富岩水上ライン) are all adjacent, so if the children tire of the water you can simply walk around the park to pass the time.

Take a break in the shade at least once every 30 minutes and drink water frequently.
