About this spot

In one corner of Nogihama Sogo Park lies this children's plaza, centered on a large combination play structure. The site is wide and the equipment generously spaced, so waiting your turn rarely drags on even at busy times. Slides, nets and ropes are combined together, and children find their own way to play according to their size. The surroundings are lawn, so falls are cushioned even when they run about, which is reassuring. Start by moving your bodies here, and when it gets hot, the flow into afternoon water play comes naturally.

Venue: 下関市・乃木浜総合公園

下関市の乃木浜総合公園にある無料の水遊び場「乃木浜総合公園親水池（親水広場）」です。2004年(平成16年)に完成した大きな親水広場で、水深が浅く水着なしでも濡れて遊べる気軽さが特徴です。人工の滝や備え付けの水鉄砲、イルカ型の乗り物といった仕掛けがあり、水に入るのが初めての子でも遊び方を見つけやすいつくりになっています。水は隣接する山陽最終処理場の高度処理水を再利用しています。周囲には大型複合遊具や芝生広場があるので、水と陸を行き来しながら午後をまるごと過ごせます。無料なので、短時間だけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。

Tips

2026年の開設期間は未発表です(例年は夏休み期間)。出発前に必ず公園の公式情報で当日の稼働を確認してください。2026年は水質異常でいったん利用中止となり、7月24日に水質改善が確認されて利用が再開されました。8月3日(月)・4日(火)は清掃のため終日利用できません。着替えとタオルは人数分用意し、遊んだあとは体をよく拭いてから車に戻ると快適です。日陰が少ないので休憩をこまめに挟みましょう。

Tips

In midsummer the surfaces of the equipment get hot, so the morning before the sun grows strong is recommended. Shade is limited, so do not forget hats and drinks. Parking is free, but the lot can get crowded on days when sports events are held. Checking the location of the restrooms first makes everything afterward easier.
