This high-rise complex connects directly to the west exit of JR Yamagata Station and houses restaurants, a convenience store and specialty shops. The air-conditioned interior is just the place to cool down and catch your breath after walking outdoors. Even when children's tastes differ there are plenty of options, so the whole family can agree easily. Buying any extra clothes, towels or drinks you might need for the afternoon water play here gives you peace of mind. There is a fountain in the plaza, and depending on the season you can enjoy the coolness by the water after eating.

Tips

The dining floors get crowded around noon on weekends, so going a little earlier or shifting to around 13:00 makes it easier to get a seat. Parking is paid, so use it according to how long you plan to stay. Nishi Park (西公園) is about 15 minutes away by car.

About 1 hour. To avoid the crowds, before noon or after 13:00 is more comfortable.
