A farmers' market in Higashine City where the fruit and vegetables of this region — known as the kingdom of fruit trees — appear season by season. In summer the star shifts from the end of the cherry season to peaches and then watermelon, and simply looking at the shelves tells you what time of year it is. It is a shop that local people use every day, so the prices and quantities feel refreshingly down-to-earth. You can also buy something light to eat and have lunch in the outdoor space or in the car. Stocking up on drinks for the afternoon water play is a good idea.

東根市の子どもの遊び場「ひがしねあそびあランド」にある無料の水遊び場が「ひがしねあそびあランド噴水ひろば」です。公式お知らせ(2026年7月29日)によると、7月25日(土)から8月31日(月)までは稼働時間が9:00〜17:00に延長されます。噴水は不規則に吹き出す仕組みで、どこから水が出るか読めないぶん、子どもは何度でも走って逃げて歓声をあげます。園内には大けやきをイメージした大型ネット遊具、泥スライダー、芝生を滑る斜面ゾーンがそろい、水に飽きても遊びが途切れません。プレイリーダーが常駐しているので、遊び方に迷ったときは声をかけてみましょう。飲食スペース・授乳スペース・オムツ替えスペースが整っていて、赤ちゃん連れでも動きやすい構成です。

Tips

雨の日や風の強い日は噴水の利用を停止する場合があるので、天気が不安定なときは出発前に確認してください。園の開園時間は4月1日から9月30日までが9:00〜18:00です。泥スライダーもある園なので、着替えとタオルは多めに用意すると安心。泥のついた服を入れるビニール袋も忘れずに。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを用意してください。
