A museum making use of a historic building that remains in Higashine City, with exhibits conveying local life and history. The space itself, crossed by thick beams, feels like an exhibit, and you notice the air change the moment you step inside. Old farming and household tools are one what-is-that after another for children. Working out what each was for together makes even a short visit memorable. Being indoors, it is also a cool way to pass the hours as the sun grows stronger.

東根市の子どもの遊び場「ひがしねあそびあランド」にある無料の水遊び場が「ひがしねあそびあランド噴水ひろば」です。公式お知らせ(2026年7月29日)によると、7月25日(土)から8月31日(月)までは稼働時間が9:00〜17:00に延長されます。噴水は不規則に吹き出す仕組みで、どこから水が出るか読めないぶん、子どもは何度でも走って逃げて歓声をあげます。園内には大けやきをイメージした大型ネット遊具、泥スライダー、芝生を滑る斜面ゾーンがそろい、水に飽きても遊びが途切れません。プレイリーダーが常駐しているので、遊び方に迷ったときは声をかけてみましょう。飲食スペース・授乳スペース・オムツ替えスペースが整っていて、赤ちゃん連れでも動きやすい構成です。

Tips

雨の日や風の強い日は噴水の利用を停止する場合があるので、天気が不安定なときは出発前に確認してください。園の開園時間は4月1日から9月30日までが9:00〜18:00です。泥スライダーもある園なので、着替えとタオルは多めに用意すると安心。泥のついた服を入れるビニール袋も忘れずに。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを用意してください。

There are closed days and set opening hours, so check the official information before you go. The galleries are a quiet space, so a word to small children beforehand helps things go smoothly. It is close to the great zelkova, so visiting the two in sequence keeps travel short.
