Kose Sports Park Craft Tower

Kose Sports Park Craft Tower is a monument-style water play area on the south side of the gymnasium, where water cascades down terraced steps. In 2026 the water flows from Friday, August 7 to Wednesday, September 30, between 10:30 and 14:30. It has no depth like a pool, so even small children can safely put their hands into the flow or chase the water running down the steps. Use is free, and because lawn spreads all around, it is easy to rest while drying off. It operates from the end of the summer holidays through the whole of September, so planning a visit outside the crowded Obon period is also a good idea.

Admission is free. The water runs from 10:30 to 14:30, only until early afternoon, so note that it will already have stopped if you arrive late in the day. A large bath towel or a poncho is handy so children can change in the car or inside a tent on the lawn. Once September comes the water can feel cold on some days, so bringing one extra layer to put on is reassuring.

Best time to visit

Arriving at 12:50 gives you solid play time right up to the 14:30 shutoff.
