Kose Sports Park is one of Yamanashi Prefecture's leading comprehensive sports parks, with an athletics stadium, a gymnasium, a baseball field and more. Between the sports facilities lie a wide lawn plaza and large playground equipment, where families spend relaxed time even on days without games. Play here before the water fun, then spread a sheet in the shade of the trees for lunch. The park paths are wide and well maintained, so strollers move easily and it is reassuring even with a younger child along. The Craft Tower is on the south side of the gymnasium, so you can walk straight there after a rest.

小瀬スポーツ公園クラフトタワーは、体育館の南側にある階段状に水が流れ落ちるモニュメント型の水遊び場です。2026年は8月7日(金)から9月30日(水)まで、10:30〜14:30に水が流れます。プールのように深さがないので、小さな子でも水の流れに手を入れたり、段を伝う水を追いかけたりして安心して遊べます。利用は無料で、まわりに芝生が広がっているため、ぬれた体を乾かしながら休憩するのも簡単です。夏休みの終わりから9月いっぱいまで動いているので、混み合うお盆を外して計画するのもおすすめです。

料金は無料です。稼働は10:30〜14:30と昼過ぎまでなので、午後遅くに到着すると水が止まっている点に注意してください。天候や利用状況により時間・期間の変更や見合わせがあるため、出発前に公式の案内(https://www.kose-sp.pref.yamanashi.jp/info/use/359879/)を必ず確認しましょう。着替えは車や芝生のテント内でできるよう、大きめのバスタオルやポンチョがあると便利です。9月に入ると水が冷たく感じる日もあるので、羽織るものを1枚持っていくと安心です。

Tips

There is not always a place to eat inside the park, so bringing a packed lunch or buying food on the way is the sure option. Shady spots are popular, so securing a place under the trees early keeps things comfortable. On event days the parking lot gets crowded, so allow extra time to arrive.
