Chuo City Toyotomi Silk-no-Sato Park

About this spot

The symbol of Toyotomi Silk-no-Sato Park is the white air dome called Mayu-no-Oka (Cocoon Hill), shaped to suggest a silk cocoon. Children become absorbed simply bouncing on the big air-filled dome, and the time flies by. Nearby there is also a space net woven from ropes, offering climbing play that uses the whole body. A lawn area spreads out alongside, so a younger child can relax on a sheet. Moving your body here before the water play makes the afternoon stream feel even better.

豊富シルクの里公園小川の水遊び場は、園内を流れる浅い小川を利用した無料の水遊びスポットです。人工のプールとは違って石や草のある自然に近い流れなので、水をすくったり石をひっくり返して生きものを探したりと、遊び方を子どもが自分で見つけていきます。時期によっては魚のつかみ取りも行われ、つかまえた瞬間の歓声は忘れられない思い出になります。すぐそばには滝のある池もあり、水音を聞きながら涼しく過ごせます。公園は4〜9月が9:00〜18:00の開園で、園内には温泉施設のシルクふれんどりぃと豊富郷土資料館も併設されています。遊び疲れたら温泉で汗を流して帰るという締めくくりも選べます。

料金は無料です。水遊びの開設期間は未発表(例年は夏季)なので、出発前に中央市の公式ページ(https://www.city.chuo.yamanashi.jp/parenting/odekakenabi/park/3169.html)で必ず確認してください。魚のつかみ取りは開催日が限られるため、あわせて確認を。小川の底には石があるのでマリンシューズが安全です。雨のあとは流れが強くなることがあるので、水量を見て無理をしない判断を。帰りにシルクふれんどりぃで汗を流すなら、入浴用のタオルも別に用意しておくと便利です。

Tips

Use is free. The surface of the air dome gets quite hot in the middle of a summer day, so it is safer to play on it in the morning. If playing barefoot, check the surface temperature first. When it is crowded, take turns and share.
