This is the Kamiiwasaki Park Wading Pool for Children (上岩崎公園 徒渉池), a free water-play spot in Kamiiwasaki Park in the Iwanoda district of Gifu City (岩崎字畑中676). In 2026 it opens on a total of 18 days between July 21 and August 10, from 13:00 to 16:00. The water is shallow, so even small children who cannot swim yet can get used to the water while walking on their own feet. It is intended in principle for children up to the third grade of elementary school; preschool children must be accompanied by a guardian, and infants not yet out of diapers may not use it. Opening days follow the Gifu City schedule, and in bad weather a red flag goes up and the pool closes. Set in a quiet residential area in the north of the city, its charm is the relaxed atmosphere in which children can play.

Right after the 13:00 opening it is uncrowded and you can play at a relaxed pace
