About this spot

This is one of the largest comprehensive parks in the city, spread over the hills of northern Gifu City. The children's zone has big slides and athletic play structures, so children who love to move can play until they lose track of time. There are also lawn areas and walking paths through the woods, so keeping to the shade makes it a comfortable place even in summer. With benches and shelters, it also works as a lunch spot for a packed meal. Since water play is waiting in the afternoon, the trick for the day is to wrap things up before everyone plays too long.

岐阜市岩野田地区の上岩崎公園(岩崎字畑中676)にある、無料で利用できる水遊び場「上岩崎公園徒渉池(児童用プール)」です。2026年は7月21日から8月10日までのうち計18日間、13時から16時まで開設されます。水深が浅いので、まだ泳げない小さな子どもでも自分の足で歩きながら水に親しめます。対象は原則として小学3年生以下で、未就学児は保護者同伴、おむつのとれない幼児は利用できません。開設日は岐阜市の日程表のとおりで、悪天候のときは赤旗が掲げられて中止になります。市の北部の落ち着いた住宅地にあり、のんびりした空気の中で遊べるのが持ち味です。

Tips

利用は無料です。当日の実施可否は現地の旗で確認できます(赤旗は中止の合図)。水着を服の下に着ていくと着替えが簡単になります。日陰が限られるため、レジャーシートと多めの飲み物を持参してください。16時終了なので、15時45分ごろから片づけを始めましょう。

Entry is free, but some facilities and rides charge a fee. Prices, opening hours, and closed days may change, so check the official website. The park is large, so decide which area you will play in before choosing a parking lot to make getting around easier. Some open areas have little shade, so bring a hat and plenty of drinks.
