Kasamatsu Town History and Future Museum (笠松町歴史未来館)

About this spot

A facility introducing the history and culture of Kasamatsu Town. Kasamatsu was a port town that served as a hub of river shipping on the Kiso River in the Edo period, and in the early Meiji era the prefectural office was even located here. That history can be traced through documents and photographs. You can also learn here where the name of Minato Park, where you will play later today, comes from. The exhibits are compact, on a scale that even small children can get through while their attention holds. Once you know how the town came to be, walking the riverside afterward makes the embankments and waterways look a little different.

羽島郡笠松町の木曽川河畔にある無料の水遊び場「笠松みなと公園じゃぶじゃぶ池・せせらぎ水路」です。浅く整えられたじゃぶじゃぶ池と、細く水が流れるせせらぎ水路がセットになっていて、年齢に合わせて遊び方を選べます。まだ歩き始めたばかりの子は水路のふちで水にふれるところから、走り回れる子は池の中で水をかけあってと、それぞれのペースで楽しめるつくりです。同じ園内に遊具と芝生広場があるので、水にあきたら遊具、疲れたら芝生でひと休みと行き来できるのも助かります。木曽川の堤がすぐそばにあり、川の町らしい開けた景色の中で過ごせるのもこの公園ならではです。

2026年の開設期間と稼働時間は未発表です。出発前に必ず笠松町の公式サイトで確認してください。利用は無料です。池の底で足を痛めないよう、水遊び用サンダルやマリンシューズを用意しましょう。更衣室は想定せず、水着を服の下に着てから出かけると着替えがスムーズです。日陰が限られるので、レジャーシートと帽子、多めの飲み物を忘れずに。水の状態が良くない日は利用が止まることがあるため、現地の掲示に従ってください。
