Sengoku Mountain Castle Museum

About this spot

Located in Kukuri, Kani City, this museum introduces the many warring-states mountain castles that remain within the city. Three-dimensional castle models and excavated materials fill the halls, showing at a glance how the terrain of the mountains was used to build fortifications. Local history materials on Kani City are exhibited alongside, so you can also learn how life here changed over time. The building is calm and compact, small enough for young children to complete a full circuit before their concentration runs out. It doubles as preparation for the Kukuri Castle Ruins you walk afterwards, so stopping here first makes that walk far more interesting.

可児市のぎふワールド・ローズガーデン(旧花フェスタ記念公園)にある「ぎふワールド・ローズガーデン霧のプレリュード水遊びエリア」です。園内の水景施設「霧のプレリュード」で、夏限定のじゃぶじゃぶ水遊びが行われます。立ちのぼる霧と水景遊具が組み合わさった空間は、プールとも川とも違う涼しさで、水が苦手な子でも霧の中を歩くところから少しずつ慣れていけます。入園には料金が必要ですが、高校生以下は無料なので家族での出費を抑えやすいのも助かるところ。ふふふのひろばの噴水やふわふわドーム、大型複合遊具とあわせて、園内だけで午後いっぱい遊べます。バラの季節を過ぎた夏でも、緑と水を目当てに訪れる価値のある公園です。

2026年の開設期間は未発表です。実施の有無と時間帯は出発前に必ず公式サイトで確認してください。入園料が必要(高校生以下は無料)なので、金額も同時に確認しておくと安心です。更衣室は想定せず、水着を服の下に着てから出かけると着替えがスムーズです。園内は広く水遊びエリアまで歩くので、荷物は最小限にまとめましょう。日差しの強い時間帯は日陰が限られるため、帽子と多めの飲み物を用意してください。ふふふのひろばの噴水は16:00で稼働が終わるので、同じ時間を目安に片づけを始めると余裕をもって帰れます。

Admission is charged. Check the price and opening days on the official website in advance. The museum has closed days, so a check before you leave is recommended. The walk from the parking lot to the entrance is short but has little shade, so do not forget a hat.
