Okayama's gateway to the sky, located right next to Nichioji Nature Forest Sports Plaza (日応寺自然の森スポーツ広場). The terminal building has an observation deck where you can look down closely at parked planes and the runway. The moment a plane roars into motion and gently lifts off never fails to draw cheers from kids, no matter how many times you have seen it. The terminal has restaurants and shops, so you can have lunch right there without the hassle of moving elsewhere. Resting indoors in the air conditioning will keep everyone energized for water play in the afternoon.

Departure and arrival times differ day to day, so check the timetable as soon as you arrive and time your visit to the observation deck around a departing flight for the best experience. The observation deck has little shade and can be windy, so keep an eye on your hats so they do not blow away.
