This agricultural park spreading across the hills of Akaiwa City is modeled on a German farming village. In the wide grounds you can meet sheep, goats, rabbits, and other animals, and through feeding them children learn the warmth and strength of living creatures with their own bodies. There are places to eat inside the park, so you can settle down for lunch and build up energy for the afternoon in the water. Seasonal harvest experiences, craft workshops, and other events are sometimes held, and checking the day's notices to shape your plan is part of the pleasure. The splash pool is inside the same park, so you can move on to the afternoon water play without traveling anywhere.

赤磐市の「おかやまフォレストパークドイツの森じゃぶじゃぶ池」は、園内にあるリニューアル済みの水遊びスポットです。子ども向けの浅い水深に整えられているので、小さな子でも自分の足で立って遊べます。いちばんの見どころは滝の裏側に回り込めるつくりで、水のカーテンの向こう側から外を眺める体験は、ふつうのプールではまず味わえません。水があふれ出す噴水もあり、どこにいても水にふれられる工夫が施されています。すぐ横に食事のできる広いウッドデッキが隣接しているため、大人が荷物を見ながら休み、子どもが水と行き来する過ごし方ができます。じゃぶじゃぶ池の利用は無料で、別途ドイツの森の入園料が必要です。

Tips

水着または水遊び用おむつの着用が必須で、裸・おむつ・下着のままでは入れません。保護者の同伴が必要です。池の中での飲食は禁止されているので、飲み物はデッキで取りましょう。シャワーと更衣室はないため、着替えの段取りとバスタオルを必ず用意してください。2026年の開設期間は未発表で、天候や点検により中止になることがあります。出発前に公式の案内で当日の状況を確認しましょう。丘の上で日ざしが強いので、帽子とこまめな休憩を忘れずに。
