About this spot

This is an area equipped with children's play equipment, inside the same Takamatsu Park as the splash pool. Right nearby, the Fureai Harappa meadow, the roofed plaza, and the multipurpose lawn plaza follow one after another, giving you just the right setting to spread a picnic sheet and eat lunch. There is a roofed multipurpose outdoor plaza, so it is also dependable as a refuge on days with strong sun or during sudden rain. Lay out the koppepan rolls you bought here and you can pass the time until the afternoon water play at an easy pace. Rather than getting into the water right after eating, moving around on the equipment while resting a little makes for just the right rhythm.

盛岡市の高松公園（高松の池）の一角にある、夏期限定で開設される児童向けの人工池が「高松公園じゃぶじゃぶ池」です。最大水深は約20cmと浅く、まだ泳げない小さな子でも安心して水に入って遊べます。利用は無料で、7月から9月ごろの夏期に開設されますが、2026年の具体的な開始日・終了日は公式に未発表のため、出発前に盛岡市の案内で稼働状況を確認してください。すぐそばにはこどもの広場の遊具やふれあいはらっぱ、屋根付きの多目的屋外広場があり、水と陸を行き来しながら1日を過ごせます。桜の名所として知られる高松の池のほとりという立地で、水遊びのあとに池を一周してボート乗り場やバラ園・ボタン園をのぞくのも気持ちのよい締めくくりです。

Tips

池の底や周囲でけがをしないよう、マリンシューズなど足を守れる履物を用意してください。おむつが取れていない子の入水可否や当日の開設状況は、盛岡市の公園案内および現地の掲示で必ず確認を。清掃や天候により予告なく利用できない日があります。日陰は限られるのでレジャーシートとテント代わりの日よけ、こまめな水分補給を忘れずに。着替え場所は限られるため、水着を下に着ていくと着替えがラクです。ゴミは各自持ち帰りです。

Tips

Avoid getting into the water right after eating; heading to the splash pool after about 30 minutes is safer. Taking your trash home is the rule here, so bring a bag. The summer lawn reflects a lot of heat, so checking where the shade is before choosing your spot makes things easier. Getting your change of clothes ready near this area before the water play keeps everything smooth.
