Robobo Factory, the large play structure at Harumi Seaside Park (晴海臨海公園), is the three-dimensional piece of equipment that made this park an instant favourite. Slides, nets and stairways are combined so that time flies by while children simply climb up and come back down. It sits right by the sea, so feeling the salt breeze while playing is another pleasure. Because it is very close to the Water Plaza, you can go straight to the mist once you have worked up a sweat. The recommended flow is to play here first and warm up before touching the water.

晴海臨海公園水広場は、スイッチを押すと地面から一定時間ミストが噴き出す水遊び場です。2022年4月にオープンした比較的新しい公園の一角にあり、自分で押して自分で浴びるという仕組みなので、水がこわい子も少しずつ距離を縮めていけます。プールのような深さがないため、歩き始めたばかりの子でも一緒に遊べるのが安心なところ。隣には屋根付きのベンチがあり、日差しを避けながら交代で休めます。例年4月1日(水)頃から10月31日(土)頃までと稼働期間が長く、真夏を避けた過ごしやすい日をねらえるのも魅力です。利用は無料で、海風の抜ける気持ちのよい環境で水と遊べます。

Tips

水を含んだ地面は滑りやすいので、場内は走らないよう必ず声をかけてください。稼働は例年4月1日(水)頃〜10月31日(土)頃です。年によって変わることがあるため、出発前に大竹市の案内で確認しましょう。専用の更衣室がない場合に備えて、水着を服の下に着ていくと着替えがスムーズです。日差しをさえぎるものが少ないので、屋根付きベンチを休憩の拠点にしましょう。着替えとタオルは人数分より少し多めに用意すると安心です。

Tips

Play equipment gets hot in the summer sun. Touch the surface of the slide to check the temperature before letting children use it. This is a popular park, so weekend afternoons are busy. Claim a bench in the shade early. Drink water regularly. There is little to block the sun around the play structure, so a hat is essential.
