The Ikoi no Mori Park Children's Plaza Stream is a shallow stream that runs between the areas for younger and older children in the Children's Plaza. Rather than looking over a fence, you can actually step into the stream, so children feel the current and the cool water with their whole body. The most popular feature is the basket-crossing ride over the stream. Children line up again and again for the thrill of pulling themselves across above the water. Because the areas for younger and older children are separated, siblings of different ages can play with peace of mind. Tips

The park is closed on Wednesdays. The 2026 opening period has not been announced, so please check the official website before you go. There are stones on the streambed, so bring sandals that will not slip off, or water shoes. Changing space is limited, so wearing swimwear under clothes makes things go smoothly. There can be a queue for the basket-crossing ride, so remind children to take turns. Insects increase towards evening in the wooded hills, so bringing insect repellent is reassuring.
