Hiroshima Prefectural Sera Park (Sera Yume Park)

About this spot

The play area of Sera Prefectural Park has a slide 31 metres long. Built along the slope, the long slide is thrilling, and after one ride children want to run straight back up the steps and try again. There is also a mini steam train nearby, and on days when it is running it is a treat for any child who loves vehicles. Surrounded by wide lawns, simply running around between rides is enjoyable enough. The Exchange Plaza with its mist fountain is in the same park, so being able to go back and forth between water and play equipment is the charm of this place.

Tips

The park is closed on Tuesdays, except on public holidays and during event periods. Always check the day of the week before you set out. Check the park's information for the mini steam train's operating days, times and fares. Summer play equipment can get hot in the sun. Touch the surface of the slide to check the temperature before letting children play. There is limited shade, so do not forget hats and frequent drinks.
