About this spot

The play equipment area and lawn plaza inside the same Higashi-Nakatomi Sakura-zutsumi Park as the water play area. Wanpaku Plaza has large combination play structures that look fun at first glance, such as a rocket-shaped slide and a snake-shaped slide. The 3,800-square-meter multipurpose lawn plaza is spacious enough both for running around and for spreading a picnic sheet and eating lunch. Eating a lunch you brought here means you can move straight into the afternoon water play with no travel time lost. Claim a shady spot and it doubles as a rest base between rounds of water play.

東中富桜づつみ公園せせらぎ広場(じゃぶじゃぶ池)は、公園中央にある大きな池と滝を中心にした無料の水遊び場です。滝から続く池や小川をたどって歩けるので、ただ座って水をかけ合うだけでなく、探検するように遊べるのがこの場所のよいところ。池の水は水道水が使われており、小さな子を遊ばせる家族には安心材料になります。滝の裏側は岩のトンネルになっていて、中はミストでひんやり。暑い日には子どもたちが何度も出たり入ったりする人気スポットです。水に飽きたらわんぱく広場の遊具や芝生広場へ移動でき、桜づつみの名のとおり堤沿いに続く桜並木の木陰が休憩場所になるので、公園の中だけで一日が完結します。

開設期間は未発表です。藍住町・徳島県とも通水期間を公表していないため、出発前に現地の通水状況を必ず確認してください。料金は無料。滝や岩まわりは濡れて滑りやすいので、脱げにくいマリンシューズやサンダルが必須です。更衣室の有無は現地で確認し、着替えは車内やタオルポンチョで済ませられるよう準備しておくと安心です。小さな子どもからは目を離さず、水温が低く感じる日は短めに切り上げましょう。

Tips

Metal parts of the play equipment get hot during summer days, so check the temperature by hand before sliding. When shade is scarce, a pop-up tent or parasol makes things far more comfortable. The barbecue area is spring-only and requires reservations, so it cannot be used in summer. Please take your trash home with you.
